02 · Game length & safety
Draft: stop for injuries, lightning or unsafe conditions; follow field closure notices. Equipment, mercy rule, tie treatment and umpire procedures require final approval.
03 · Rosters & eligibility
Proposed adult league (18+), ten fielders and a continuous batting order. Roster limits, substitutes, divisions and playoff eligibility will be finalized before paid registration. Captains maintain their own roster.
04 · Sportsmanship & community
No harassment, threats, slurs or abusive conduct. Captains are responsible for team conduct. Contact the organizer to report a concern.
05 · Team logos & broadcasts
Choose an available default logo in your interest email, or email your desired logo to [email protected] with your team name. Send only artwork you have permission to use. The organizer will confirm your logo and any filming or broadcast consent before play.
Equipment & league services
The league provides field permits, umpires, video coverage with YouTube live streams and replays, and strike-zone mats. Each team must supply game balls and bases. Final equipment specifications will be confirmed before play.

06 · Locations, rainouts, fees & refunds
Central Park is our preferred main location, subject to approved field permits. Makeup games may be scheduled in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx, depending on available permits. Check the confirmed game schedule for the field, date, and time before traveling.
All dates depend on permits. If the league cannot obtain the permits needed to deliver the advertised season and cancels before play begins, registration payments including league-charged processing fees are refunded in full. Teams that voluntarily withdraw after their division’s first scheduled game has begun receive no registration refund, including late entrants. This does not govern cancellations by the league. Pre-season withdrawals, weather losses and games the league cannot deliver still need a separate final policy, subject to applicable refund rights. NYC Parks does not refund permit fees for weather cancellations under its published rule.
07 · Traveling trophies & refundable deposits*
* Trophies are traveling league property. Winners may take presentation photos without a deposit; the trophy stays with the league. An optional take-home loan lasts 30 days and requires a refundable deposit equal to the trophy’s documented replacement cost, disclosed before collection. Each trophy requires its own deposit. Return it on time in the agreed condition for a full refund; normal wear is not damage. Collection and return are documented with photos. Overdue reminders and a seven-day grace period come before any replacement-cost deduction; there is no extra penalty. The deposit is separate from team fees. Final written loan terms will be provided before any deposit is collected.

One fixed fee schedule for substitute passes. No early bird pricing, late fees or registration-period price changes.
The full bag covers six substitute appearances; it does not guarantee selection. Unused passes carry into the next season. A requested game reserves one pass; it returns if you are not selected or the game is canceled before it starts. Used only after check-in and the game starts. Captain approval and roster availability required; selection and playing time are not guaranteed. Regular season only. Email your Bullpen interest to receive availability and payment instructions.

Week-by-week schedule
Dates are tentative, subject to permits. Weekdays: two simultaneous games at 6 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday. Weekend: up to three consecutive games per day; start times TBD. The six-game season has three regular-season weeks (6 games per week per league), followed by semifinals, league finals and the SHOWUP Cup of Softball final. Repeat matchups are marked. Only the SHOWUP Cup of Softball final crosses leagues; teams must agree to its shared date before registration. Central Park is our preferred main location, subject to approved field permits. Six perpetual trophies · three for Spring, three for Fall.
Each season has a Clock-Out Pennant, Weekend Warriors Pennant and SHOWUP Cup of Softball. The overall champion also keeps its league title. These are traveling trophies; the winner’s place in the league record never expires.
